For very FAST and good enough Mexican cuisine, Puerto Vallarta is a solid pick in the area. It is very clear that the waiters main focus is to turn tables, not necessarily to be friendly or go above and beyond for their customers but the food is hot and flavorful. Their Chimichangas or any of the Combination meals are plenty large in portion sizes for a small price.

My fiancé were running some errands across the river in New Albany and needed a bite to eat. We opted for Puerto Vallarta and I'm glad we did! I ordered the Burrito Guacamole and he ordered the Burrito Alcarbon! We both really enjoyed our meals!
I would recommend Puerto Vallarta over the Louisville staple of El Nopal. I felt the ingredients used here were much fresher and the food had more flavor! The salsa served before we received our food was wonderful!
When we visited the were renovating the space, so if you visit in the future you can expect and updated look and feel! -

What you need to know about Mexican food is that mexican't live without it - and PV is our go-to favorite restaurant for Mexican food.
Service is super fast and always friendly.
The food is consistently great. Their salsa is a nice departure from your typical Mexican restaurant salsa - chucks of tomato and cilantro, also seasoned with black pepper?
There is plenty of seating for groups large and small and there is rarely a wait.
The beer is cold and the margaritas are well balanced (tequila v. mix) and taste great! -

Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in metro area. Used to eat at the Muncie location 20+ years ago when I was at Ball State and was thrilled when I moved back to the area and found this location.
I've lived in DC, Atlanta, Fort Worth and Austin and Puerto Vallaeta's steak fajitas are the BEST I've ever had. Service is always excellent as well. -

Trash. This food is microwave Mexican. I ordered enchiladas. And I got a monstrosity. I don't know what kind of meat it was, but it wasn't chicken, hamburger, or shredded beef. Disgusting!!
